Rizoma Bar End Mirrors mounted for LA lane splitting.

With the mirrors mounted "up and out" (as shown in the first picture below) I found myself clipping car mirrors while lanesplitting in Los Angeles.

So, I mounted them pointing "down and in" (second and third picture below) and haven't had a problem since.

Old Bars Out -- New Bars In

Above is the stock set up: OEM Bars, Mirrors,

and Turn Signals.

Here's the new set up: K&N Drag Bars modified

by Weekend Frame Company. WFC lengthened

them to allow for the Rizoma Bar End Mirrors as

well as reducing the ID to 7/8" to accept the

vintage BMW Bar End Signals. A Badlands

brand Illuminator/Load Equalizer allows

me to use these as Run/Brake/Turn Signals.

Goal: FXDX @ Bonneville 2009

I was thinking of selling the FXDX, but have decided to keep to my original plan to outfit it with a JIMS 120 Race Kit and run it at Bonneville in 2009. Going to give it a some cosmetic changes as well.

My photoshop skills are terrible, but this pic gives a good idea of the look I'm going for.
